This was my first mini of this kind or attempting anything like it. I tried to add some color to the base to show light from him but I don't think it shows up that great in the pics. I also charred portions of the bushed by painting them dark brown and walnut.

Don't lie - you didn't paint that, you recast it in transluscent yellow plastic, didn't you? ::o:

Nothing special. I think the blue background in the pic really helps the colors stand out. It is primed white and I used some Vallejo Game colors and Reapers new Lava Colors.

That has got to be the most realistic fire painting I've ever seen on a mini - it even feels hot to look at. Incredible.

That just looks sweet. I love how you painted the fire. I need to start paitng fire like that, I keep putting to much red into it.
I paint minis, because it keeps me out of the strip clubs!

And I thought the Banshee was cool, this is even better, ditto on everyones elses comments on your brilliant creation of fiery effect.
