Plastic Plans

Not that I mind the painting or such. I rather like that part of the hobby but there are a lot of people I know that play games with unpainted figures.

In the future, additional models will be compatible with Warlord, while still maintaining utility for RPG needs.

Plastic is one of the options being examined for CAV, but nothing has been decided yet. At this time, we are working on getting a smooth production schedule in place for the Fantasy end of the line. Pre-painted CAV, Chronoscope, Reich, or whatever* will all wait until we are sure that Legendary Encounters has a solid foundation and system in place. The system has taken us nearly 3 years (at this time) to generate a smooth process from us to the factory to the consumer, but it is hoped that the end result - 4-6 plastic figures on a regular basis (initially quarterly, with plans to increase to semi-monthly and eventually monthly) - will enable us to expand our Plastic offerings into our other product lines. I DO NOT have a timetable for any of these ideas coming to fruition, so please don't ask.Any plans to expand the plastic treatment to other reaper games..*cough!* CAV!*Cough! Sorry had something in my throat I guess. ;)
As always, demand and the needs of Reaper as a business will take precedence, so though I mention these ideas today, it may be a long time before anything is seen in the public arena about them. No announcements will be made until we are sure we can do it right. Or, given our history with plastic launches, at least do it "not that bad"
*On a more personal note, I'm all in favor of Pre-Paints for CAV and Reich, since, as we are witnessing with the LE/Warlord crossover models, they provide an excellent jumping-in point for the game. Nevertheless, we shall have to see.
