We had the same reaction on our forums!! If it makes it to the big screen in Philly, which there is a chance of that happening, I am thinking about thirty of us will go see it.

Finally! A historically accurate horror film! 
I also like how they pick up a sickle and hammer to use as weapons.
P.S. Chainsaw is the worst zombie-fighting weapon ever.

The hammer and sickle weren't lost on me either!! The last line of subtitled dialogue in the trailer makes it for me, but I don't want to spoil it.
As for chainsaws and zombies, I'll take the chainsaw over nothing.

Extremely cool.
I especially liked the Indiana Jones nod and the Sam Rami-esque weapon reveals.

The trailer reminds me of a cross between Reaper's RoTD and Chronoscope lines, and Hasslefree's Zombie Hunters and Adventurers. It would make a very fun Savage Worlds horror adventure to just ape this movie alone.
It looks like it's been out already, so it may not be at arthouses here, but you can bet your pewter collection I will own a copy of this film!!

I got my grubby mitts on this DVD!! Laugh out loud fun. The bonus disc with all the behind the scenes stuff was enormously entertaining too.

Been on netflix DtD for a minute. Wasn't too bad. It had its moments.
