how about a modern fighter pilot posed like he was standing with his plane, maybe a arm up in the air (like he was holding the ladder to the cockpit) & of course his helmet in his hand.
Not sure how much difference there are between normal fighter plane uniforms to a the F117 stealth fighter uniform, but as I'm looking for a F117 pilot in this pose, that is the uni I'd prefer.

Some 1950s type characters... Greaser types with either switchblade knives, or guitars, rolled up jeans and pompadours, maybe some poodle skirt girls in ponytails, or some bad girls in Betty Paige style haircuts. Yeah!

*Zombies. You just can't go wrong with zombies, man. I have more zombies than I need, but every time I see zombies that are better than the zombies I have, I have to buy them. Then again, I note that Reaper is already producing Chronoscope zombies...
*Heavily armed rednecks. Shotguns. Chainsaws. Sixpacks. And at least one slinky blonde with a deer rifle and a pair of Daisy Dukes on.
*A not-Gordon Freeman (I like to think of a mini with interchangeable heads and arms. He's wearing a high-tek body armor suit, and you COULD just use the armored helmet and the arms with the zap gun... or you could use the bare head with crew cut and hornrim glasses, and the right hand with the crowbar in it...)
*I second the motion on fifties-style figures -- greaser, nerd, and poodle skirt girl. They'd be great in my next zombie game. Or to sic an Ooze on...
*"Infested Human." I'm thinking of a zillion games in which some sort of hideous alien thing has grafted itself to the hapless members of the science team, and are now horrible monsters out to get you (Halo, Half-Life, Starcraft...) that would be fun to buy multiples of, mod them, and send them off after the heroes...

More dwarves like the one with the multi-barrel gun.
Civilian sci-fi ala Firefly.
Plenty of sci-fi marines, both riflemen and support weapons, plus a squad leader and a platoon leader.
Fu Manchu and his minions and other pulp characters.
WWII Japanese.
1930's era Shanghai: opium gangs, white Russians, Chinese warlords and their troops, European/American sailors, missionaries, Japanese soldiers, etc.
21st century SEALs/Special Forces.
That is a lot of very different minis. If I were to narrow it down, I would say the 30's era Shanghai, since that seems to be the area that has the least coverage from other manufacturers.

How about some Bond girls and villians, like Jaws from Moonraker.
Modern equivalent of Jaws would be The Grill. Bond villian and supper villian all in one.
Rasputin was mentioned and it made me think of my weird time traveling wrester game.
Imagion Rasputin the wrestler with a bad russian accent.
"I HAVE SEEN THE END OF THIS UPCOMING MATCH AND YOU HAD BETTER JUST STAY HOME!
I KNOW YOUR EVERY MOVE BEFOR YOU DO IT AND I WILL WIN, BECAUSE WHEN YOUR IN THE
RING WITH ME, THERE IS NO DESPUTIN RASPUTIN!"
Um. No. Don't make him a mini. Its just to weird. But I do like El' Deoblo. He needs someone to fight.
