After many months of squeezing in painting I've finally finished all of the Pacific Fed forces that I own. I still haven't finished the infantry completely, and I may pick up a couple more odds and ends, but I'm considering the project done for now.

While it took me a while to finish, the actual painting time wasn't too bad. Basecoat, apply camo, pic out metallic parts, then a brown liner magic wash and I called it finished.

All 132 vehicles:

They are from brigade models here is the link:

They are the PacFed range. They are a little plain, but if you are looking to game in bulk, they are a nice deal.

Those are great! Which rules are you using them with?

I'm not so sure I'd want to get hit by a missile with a "dog brain" AI.

Wow. I've looked at their range many times before but always end up with "nah, too plain". But seeing them painted up is kinda changing my opinion on them.

I'm not really sure what rules I would use. I was thinking of using Future War Commander with the modification that hits are not regenerated at the end of each turn. I'm still not sure it would play fast enough to work though.

Damn! Make up some of your own Data Cards and use them with CAV's rules - just playing vehicles only.

I'd love to see that game on the table. Better yet I'd love to play in it!!!

I'm working on the opposition to these guys now, about 120 or so vehicles all told.

I wish reaper would make the CAV vehicle design rules public...the damage track system would be great in 6mm for differentiating between superheavies and what not.
