So, I was wondering are there any other RotD fans that are fans of McCammon's military horror books?
I'm not sure how many military horror stories he wrote, but Night Boat was a Nazi zombie novel, Wolf's Hour was a Nazi Werewolf novel. My favorite though was Nightcrawlers, it was about a guy that was the lone survivor of his Vietnam Unit, and everytime he falls asleep the dead comrades attack.
Heres a link to the Nightcrawlers short story, if anyone is interested.

It's Dwarfs not Dwarves.
1500+ Warlord Armies: Dwarfs, Elves, Mercs, Reven, Goblins, Lupines, Sisters,
"To be is to do"-Socrates
"To do is to be"-Sartre
"Do Be Do Be Do"-Sinatra
"De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da" - Sting
"Scooby Dooby Do"-Scooby Do
"Yaba Daba Doo"-Fred Flintstone

Wolf's Hour was good. The only thing I didn't care about it was that the hero scored as much as James Bond or Capt Kirk did.
I liked the back story on how the guy became a werewolf. Interesting and a bit sad. I was also pleased that the author treated the people as real, in the sense that the relationships came and went and didn't drag out. Know what I mean?
David Bishop could have taken some pointers for his "Fiends" series.
