I am curious about the release schedule here. What's the plan? When will we see rules? Greens? Planned format (still plastic boxed set + plastic troops + metal alternates/specials?)?

MY FLSG is really interested, but they've heard nothing through channels.

I stopped in at the FLGS and got Tannhauser today. One of the store guys was in on the playtesting and loved it. Several others have bought it. So the markets at my GS for this type of product. They thought it was cool when I showed them the stuff Ed put up on the forum here and since the LE pre-paints are selling well, they're interested in pre-paints for RotD.

Didn't Ed the TX Posse say something about the first part of next year for projected release date? So maybe by Jan or Feb they'll start pimping it to the stores. Don't know really, but I do know I want a poster for RotD.

Some of our BattleTech/Mechwarrior guys got a big ol'promo poster and put it in a sign holder and set it up whenever they have club meetings or game sessions. It really stands out in the store when they're gaming. I need to snag one when Reaper does their promo so I can have my beacon to the wayward gamers.

I think Ed and Posse are a bit busy. I tried bothering him last week and he seems to have a lot on his plate. Which is good for us. That means he's working on cool stuff for us.

Though I would like to see some artistic visuals of things to help spur my already active imagination.

Without seeing some greens, or some preview material, I would say don't hold your breath for Q1 2008.

What's the rush??? I think Reaper will do well to learn the lesson from Warlord and not put the cart before the horse. Do they really want another book that has all of the stat lines errataed in an online format?

I don't have a real interest in this game, but I do want Reaper to succeed in this venture, so I'll say, take your time.

I don't think anyone wants them to rush, at least, I didn't get that impression.

I feel it's more like "Hey, do you guys have any other tidbit you can feed us?"

Ed's been cool enough to put up several things already. Little thing to make us salivate. Things that make us think "Whoa, that's soooo cool."

But, like most Ami's, we need that constant reinforcement and teaser. That's part of why I keep putting up regular posts. I'm not on the inside at Reaper, but that's not gonna stop be from putting up fan-stuff that might inspire others.

Speaking of which, Madam Proofread, the Great and Almighty Wife, has proofed my current finished piece of fiction. I will make the final corrections and post it later tonight or tomorrow.

But, back to the topic. For me, the teasers Ed and Posse release, allow me to fine tune my stuff. It's all about me baby. Oh yeah. Just me.
