Inquest # 100 (August) had a little blurb about my currently favorite RPG world, White Wolf's Exalted. The article gave just the slightest teasing bit of infor that Reaper had gotten the license to produce miniatures for either a new minis game or simply minis for the RPG system.
Can anyone in an official capacity confirm/deny/smirk evilly at us about this.
The best miniatures company in the business combined with one of the best RPG's ever in an official capacity would just be too cool. . .

Exalted is a wonderful, fast-pased RPG done by White Wolf Studios (Yes, the same people who do that terrible RPG)
Basically, you play the phenominally gawdlike characters. Think of a DnD Epic level campaign, and you /start/ that way.
The system is simple, the game is fun, and as a refreshing change, things are actually optimistic!

1) Definite Yes, but we're not telling.
2) It's in the works, so we can't say.
3) Definite Yes, but we're not allowed to say.
Something as cool as this that was definitely not happening would probably have been flatly denied.
oh, and Exalted Linkage for those of you who have not experienced the glory of this game.
[Edit] Come to think of it, this might be White Wolfs "Big Saturday Announcement" at GenCon. I don't know that they've ever done a line of minis for one of their RPG's, and the August Inquest isn't on shelves yet, afaIk. I only got mine because I sent away for a LE Shadowrun Duels Figure.

Whitw Wolf has had Mini lines for their games in the past. I've got a Wereeolf miniature (I think they were Ral Partha but I'm not sure.) They had Vampire miniatures,too. I don't recall ever seeing any thing for any of the other storytelling games (well, except for Trinity/Aeon, since that had its own wargame)
Also, Reaper doing Exalted Miniatures would make my day.

Yeap Colin is right, RP produced several lines for Mage, Werewolf, Vampire, and maybe some of their other games, I dunno. I bought several of them for use with modern Call of Cthuhu.

Whitewolf's saturday announcement was "We're doing the apocalypse next year".
I talked to Ron and others at Gencon.
Yes, they are making Exalted figures.
RP did do a line of werewolf/etc figs, but they were pretty bad and uninspired.
What's intresting is picking up Casket Works and seeing all the new sculptors.

Yeah, I checked their website on Saturday after they said the announcment would be posted and it was amazing. Slowest I've ever seen it.
And the WoD Community is very much up in arms, from what I understand.
Oh well, I never like WoD anyway. Give me Exalted anytime.
