There's certainly a plethora of WWII games on the market, and a fair number of resources. Some good, some sucky.

Here's a couple that I've been using for our FoW group, but will transfer over nicely to RotD.

The Lone Sentry
Photographs, Documents, and Research on World War II
http://www.lonesentry.com/

They feature a number of articles/phamplets/pictures taken from military periodicals of that era.

In Their Words
An oral history of WWII
http://www.intheirwo...ources/Timeline

A neat sight with a yearly timeline of major events. Weaponry. Statistics. Maps, etc.

Axis History Factbook
http://www.skalman.nu/3rd-moved/

U-Boat Net
http://uboat.net/

Ok, if your like me, you'll have some maritime zombies.........ala Worst Case Scenario. Creepy, creepy apparently abandoned U-boat. Yeah, that's what you want them to think.

World War II Combat Medic
http://home.att.net/~steinert/
http://home.att.net/...t/newpage17.htm
Gives some nice info on this subject along with TOE and flow chart of medical groups assigned to a US Rifle Infantry Regiment (RIR).

Here's some of the websites I haunt that have provided at least one bit of info for each of the stories I've done, and/or currently working on.

The Encyclopedia of Weapons of World War II By Chris Bishop
http://books.google....vm4SM#PPA265,M1

Not only does this have the stats of the various weapons, but color drawings and photo's of the weapons.

Landers
http://www.deutschesoldaten.com/
If you wanna know what the German military was like, with info on uniforms, equipment, ID, procedures, and personal accounts, this is a great site.

The Fedora Lounge

http://www.thefedora...e.com/index.php
If your even remotely interested in getting the clothing details right for civilian and military aspects of the 30's and 40's, this is a nice place to step into and look. That's right clothing. Even the little details can stand out. Wanna know what tie to wear or skirt for that 1941 guy or gal, then look here.

Online US military manuals from World War II

http://www.ahco.army.../site/index.jsp
Yes, you'll have to hunt and peck and do leg work. You lazy sod, get to it.

US 101st Airborne Division
June, 1944

http://www.spearhead...rpg/amer101.htm
TOE for this elite and bloodied unit.

Bill, those posts rock. Do you have anymore?

Of course I do. Here ya go.

US Infantry Division Organization Charts
http://www.custermen...hart/Charts.htm
Shows the makeup of a division and number of soldiers per unit. Types of smaller units within the overall bigger ones. Etc.

The United States Parachute Infantry Battalion

http://www.bayonetst...20battalion.htm
The structure for a PIR

The World War II History Center Research Database

http://www.wwiihisto...esearchpage.htm
This lists important military people, units, naval vessels.

German Lugers, Sniper Rifles, Sniper Badges, World War II Photo Gallery
http://www.sniperwwii.com/
This is place where you can buy the stuff mentioned above. The useful part of it for me is the pics of the actual items. Nice to see what an actual Kar98K sniper rifle w/scope looks like. And the ammo. Not to mention the oil pantings are nice inspiration.
