ok, let me expand my post a bit then...
since everyone seems so interested in reich of the dead you might like to take a look at west wind productions secrets of the third reich. its an alternate reality of ww2 where basically everyone has been A-bombed at one point or another, zombies are rampant, and russia turned on the allies by invading norway.
it also has big stompy robots, werewolves and vampires
theyre still beta testing but the basic rules are there as well as a bunch of background info which was fun to read.
heres a link to the beta...

LOL, sorry I didn't check in earlier. Sounds like a lot of fun. Nothing like RotD.
Cliff notes on RotD:
The SS Ahnenerbe use the Dresden Codex, Wroclaw Codex, the Magic Calendar, Pinnacle 49 numerology and the Mayan calendar to construct and use a Cyclomatron to collect dark matter for study as a power source for the embattled Reich. Unknowingly their efforts finish a year 1618 botched up ceremony intended to trap and dispel a demon. The resurrected demon is set lose in the middle of the Third Reich and soon rules the Third Reich.
Two types of Nazi Zombies now are expanding across Europe. We have nick named the fast smart and aggressive zombies "28-Day Zombies" The slower shuffling zombies "Night of the Living Dead" zombies.
No super science stuff like walkers but there are bunches of flamethrowers; flail tanks, quad machine guns and tanks running over piles of zombies. Gaining their power from the ground itself zombie tanks have poles and wire on the engine decks that arc like tesla bolts into the ground. (See Picture of Tiger Tank below) Also, zombie tanks and guns fire darkmatter rounds.
If you don't play smart, you play dead...

World War II is truly for control of the world as we new it
As a side note, Kevin has begun collecting parts to construct a Cyclomatron in the dungeon here at Reaper. He wants to explore using cheap labor on the wheels of pain~

I'd like to see the baddies expand beyond Zombies eventually though. Werewolves do look good in SS uniforms!
So, what's the plan with the minis? Will we see normal Allied and Axis troops and vehicles as well as the zombies? If so, this could be a great way to get pre painted 28mm WWII figs. I've always wanted to do 28mm WWII, but I just don't have the time to paint.

Hopefully not just you.I'm a firm believer that there can not be too many games involving nazi zombies and weird WWII settings.
That is just me though. ;)

I'm not so sure I'd want to get hit by a missile with a "dog brain" AI.

Dammit Ed, I was standing firm on not getting into RotD (pronounced "rotted"?). That little description has come dangerously close to sucking me in. Stop it. Now. My miniatures budget is stretched as it is.
Give in to the dark side. You can feel the urge to play. You know you want the smart zombies and dumb zombies. Yes, yes, that's it. Come, come to the dark side. Give in to your inner desire.
Besides, the dark side has the best light parties. Where else can you get lightsaber shows and demonic fireballs shooting across the battlefield. And the buffet is to die for.

all the satisfaction of blowing nazis to smithereens... again
Oh sure, you say that now. Wait till you run across that uber-Kroid that looks like Arnold Schwarzenegger from the Predator movie, totting an MG-42 in one hand and a panzerfaust in the other.
"Yu vant some of dis, puny American soldier. Komen get zome. Ha ha ha. I vill crush yu."

there was an interesting take we did in my RPG inspired by the ROTD previews...the living germans had a sort of guerillia resistace whose job was to stay the heck out of their former enemies way while trying to cleanse the (very-f'ing-tarnished) name of the fatherland and get 'satan' out of office....
that Arnold guy would be on their side....
EDIT: err, not!!... i was a stupid and missed "kroid" vs. "german"
errgh! brain gone!
(so, i'm good for hunting zombies!
