You need to go to page 127 in your JoR and study your Recognition Guides. That blue and white Ogre is Ritterlich, not Adonese.I actually really like the blue and white color scheme on the Ogre in the JOR.
IIRC Reaper used to have a picture of a Wraith from the 1st RADD that was painted a dark yellow on the original CAV website.

You're Adonese.... if you're going to go to war, you spend a month holding negotiations before you do anything! If we're going to war, we are going to bring it right into your capital city.

I Adon are going for an urban camo, dark grey, light grey, with a pinch of red. I like to think the adon don't mess around. If we're going to war, we are going to bring it right into your capital city. So my army is painted as such.
Well... that's the plan anyways... :)
I've been considering urban camo as well...don't really want to paint actual camo though, so I may use urban camo colors, but without the camo pattern...

Nah, we just like to helpt the... younger races with their negotiations. Handling our own is far more simple, and because of our large network of ambassadors we already have the layout of our prime targets far ahead of time. You're Adonese.... if you're going to go to war, you spend a month holding negotiations before you do anything! If we're going to war, we are going to bring it right into your capital city.

@Vil-hatarn
I've been using tape and spray paint for my camo, it's been working out nicely. I won't say it's perfect, but I'm happy with the quick and easy results. I just have to go back and touch up what's left

I think I've finally decided on a color scheme...going to use the "official" red and yellow over black and gray; white for details (like missiles). Just have to get the hang of highlighting black properly.

They don't actually have the Ogre I remember seeing, but there is a BS Scorpion in a similar sceme, as well as a Terran Kahn.
This is similar to the Ogre pic in the JOR: http://cavhq.reaperg...amp;detail=1323
Iterestingly, my green on black scheme matches colors on the KDM and HM logos.

I dont care who that Ogre belongs to. It belongs to me now. And so does that ritt Commodore's name. You need to go to page 127 in your JoR and study your Recognition Guides. That blue and white Ogre is Ritterlich, not Adonese.

I don't care bout no darn "Steel Griffins" or "Mil-Nets", I wanna go fast! I wanna go fast! I wanna go fast! YAAAHHHOOO!!!That's Steel Griffins/Mil-Net colors! Don't you dare use them for some Adonese faction!
And no, I'm not j/k!
Ahem, now seriously, the blue-white Scorpion shown in the JOR is described as "at its debut in 2262" which tends to make me think that that is a Borsig-Spline paint job. This is supported by the Borsig-Spline logo on page 48 of the rulebook (page 60 of the pdf). It is also notably similar to the darker blue-light-silvery Mark IV paint job on the Wraith one page earlier, and the SyRaM Falcon just below the Wraith. It appears to me that the Polar Bears symbol is also a kind of blue-white/silver, and the Templars also seem to favor the Blue-White-Black color pattern on their badges.
I don't know who the Steel Griffins are, but since they are not in the first edition or second edition rulebooks, I will assume that they were invented over on the Mil-Net site where you are active. I would still enjoy using their paint schemes on my Borsig-Spline models if I didn't actually prefer the black and green of Hughes-Marrietta and KDM. Although,
I will likely paint my Ritterlich
army Black and Blue
just to be a little more
stylish than you.

Yes, the Griffins were created by the guys who run Mil-Net. You might want to research the rest of your statement though.I don't know who the Steel Griffins are, but since they are not in the first edition or second edition rulebooks, I will assume that they were invented over on the Mil-Net site where you are active.
Mil-Net started using some Reaper-supplied artwork of a Silver and Blue Scorpion back in 2001. When Ed showed me the color artwork for the JoR, he agreed to make the Scorpion artwork a Steel Griffin CAV, but we hit a hitch during development. In order for Reaper to use the Steel Griffin logo on the drawing, we would have had to sign away our rights to the artwork, something we weren't interesting in doing. So instead the color Scorpion became a B-S pic and the Griffins got the Rhino fluff.Ahem, now seriously, the blue-white Scorpion shown in the JOR is described as "at its debut in 2262" which tends to make me think that that is a Borsig-Spline paint job. This is supported by the Borsig-Spline logo on page 48 of the rulebook (page 60 of the pdf).
And that Mil-Net fans, is our history lesson for today.
