I would also like to see the Paladin make a reappearance. The Centurion is a great super but I'd like to see another big monster out there on the field.

What type of units do the templars need, what kind of holes are you guys having to fill in with open units?
A new tanks would be good. Maybe a fast hover tank with linked SAs
What can I love the Link SA. I roll really bad and any chance to try again is good in my book. So obviousily I love the Crusader having link.

Something else that I've noticed is with IA attacks new effectiveness the Templars need a mainline CAV with a IFM. It can be very effective now to use a sections IFMs to soften up a target on a large board but the Templars don't have a model to fill that roll. Kinda like a Warlord but w/ better bang for the buck (always seemed overpriced to me compared to the 'Tator 60).
For about a hundred more points your getting better range and better armor with the Warlord. While a point here or there might not seem like much, but when you take in the synergy between the extra 12" of range and the higher armor, you can see the difference. At 30" the 'lord is needing only a 6 or better, while the Dickie is needing an eight.
If that's not enough the 'lord has a slower degrade then the Dickie. The Dickie has a glassjaw when it comes to defense.
I'll stand by my call the the Warlord is the best CAV in the Open Market. Its better then some Faction Specific ones.

I'll confirm your call.
The Warlord is a great model to build Independent task forces around.

Bonds of Knighthood
Armor Section 1067 pts
2x Duelist
1x Crusader
Rifle Section 429
3x Armored Rifle Team, AT-23 & Jet Pack upgrades
Not sold on this idea. I thought the infantry might be a surprise to some. Anyway, give me some 1500 point ideas gentlemen.

Are you guys using the eratta? If so, I'd make room for a Centurion. Those new Linked guns are suh-weet!
Yes - Eratta will be in effect. Bringing a Centurion would probably limit you to 1 section - but it would be a good one.

That's what I was thinking. I love the thing and almost always put one in a larger force but it will take up almost half my points and be a very tempting target.

Centurion + Crusader + Duellist would be a good section. Either throw in a puma or a orbital pinpoint + smoke strike. Lots of stuff to target lock and run ECM. I'd probably take the strikes - that smoke strike can give you a good round to stay out in the open if you had to. And the orbital pinpoint is alwasy handy.
