Don't forget true believers, your Starhawk VI's have the ESM SA. That gives them a +1 when they fire their missiles.

Here's what I ran:
Thunderbird
+1 Rav
+1 Dv
+1 ECM
Starhawk 6 (x 2)
+1Rav
+1 Dv
+1 ECM
Starhawk 5
+1 Rav
+1 Dv
+1 ECM
1792 points.
One of the guys that beat me was Blitz so I didn't feel too bad about that. He had two Hawk 6's and two Hawk 5's and two Kikyu's. It came down to my wounded Thunderbird and his last Hawk 6 duking it out and his Hawk 6 won. How can you really feel bad losing to another Terran player who's also the guy who designed the Hawk 6 and T-bird.
The terrain we fought on was pretty wide open and the rounds were timed so there wasn't all that much strategy and tactics involved. My dice weren't hot for me is all. None of the three games I played in the tourney was a slaughter, all were close and came down to one or two damage tracks really.
Oh well, my shot at redemption is coming up in a couple weeks at the RAC tourney.

I didn't do so hot at the tourney. I got beaten first by a force almost identical to mine then by another Terran force and finally by a force with both a Rhino and an Ogre.
Here's what I ran:
Thunderbird
+1 Rav
+1 Dv
+1 ECM
Starhawk 6 (x 2)
+1Rav
+1 Dv
+1 ECM
Starhawk 5
+1 Rav
+1 Dv
+1 ECM
1792 points.

I know that spartan faced some newer players so he wasnt able to keep a rhythm going. He had to explain alot of the rules to his opponents.
I got lucky and played some experienced players.
Having new or inexperienced players across from you in a tournament is a killer. I couldn't keep the rhythm and once you have to stop and explain drift or how missiles work to your opponent in a tourney you may as well just be playing a demo. By the beginning of my second round I no longer cared wether I won it or not. There's no joy in beating someone because they don't know the rules.

It hurt some C8 but I can't say it was a deciding factor. I still got some missile crits. I would say that the deciding factor was the terrain being so barren and the short amount of time we had to do anything.
Yeah, running straight at the other guy on open terrain with cold dice probably isn't a good thing.

On the flipside at least you are seeing new players... better to lose a tournament yet add two or three new people to the game, IMO.

If you could have any new units you wanted for the Terran forces what would it be?
By "new" do you mean which models not yet produced or units not on the roster?
