03386 Thorvald, Dwarf Hero: sculpt Werner Klocke, paint Philip Esterle

I think I picked this one up at ReaperCon 2011 (or perhaps earlier), and based and primed it around that time. Then it sat on my desk untouched for many months until sometime this spring when I started on it again. I got close to finishing it, and then it sat again for another month or so. I've finally finished it, and will be shipping it down to Reaper soonish.
If you feel so inclined, here's the CMON link.
If you feel bored, more of my stuff could use some votes. (I'm not looking to bump up the scores, just that I have some that have been sitting at just below 50 votes for quite a while) http://www.coolminio....com/artist/pae
Finally, if you want to follow my work on Facebook, I have a page there:
Thanks for looking. :-)

NMM looks sweet, not sure about the jade blue and green together, butt still very nice.

On the back side, I hadn't trimmed off as much, so I started by sculpting with milliput, and then added a bit of the fine mixture on top of that.
After I painted it, I added a few clumps of static grass, and small clump of field grass, and then some flocking (I think it's the WS fine turf). I also painted (dry brushed) the 'vegetation' so that it wasn't quite so green.

Outstanding! I like this blue ("turquoise brown" in Phil-palette terms) and green ("leaf brown"), with the actual browns (bronze/copper, leather, beard) helping them to play well together.
Nice stony base, too -- very convincing and cost-effective. (I probably would have tried to sculpt the whole thing out of green stuff....)
Thanks for the link to your Facebook page, too, and I look forward to seeing the Spitfire and some of those bigger Reaper figures.
