How does it work?
When you see a product that's available for sale, you'll see a widget you can click on to add it to your shopping list. Sometimes it looks like this: [+1] Click it to add one of that item to your list. Here are a couple of other buttons you may find:
Once you have something in your list, you'll see this button:
Click it to be taken to our secure site to finalize your purchase.
Do I have to log in?
Not at all. You might want to, however. With a log in, we can save your lists across visits and also save your favorite shipping addresses for you. If you don't log in and have something in your list when you go off to have dinner, there's a good chance your list will be blank by the time you come back. Web server sessions time out after a little while, taking your data with it -- unless you log in first. We also carry some inventory controlled items that can't be added to your cart unless you log in first. If one of these items are added to your cart and your cookie expires, then POOF, it's gone and we can't account for it anymore until we do a manual recount. So to make it easier to keep track of, you have to be logged in to add these products to your cart.
Registering is painless, too. Just an email address and a password.
Why did something disappear from my cart?
With our metal miniatures, when we run out of a product we simply cast more. Several of the products we sell in our online store are manufactured by other companies, and we have to carry a physical inventory of these items, reorder them when we run low, that sort of thing. When these inventory controlled items are in your cart for more than 24 hours, the system will flag them for removal so someone else can have a chance to purchase it and we don't have to keep looking at the item sitting on a shelf while it sits forever in a cart that may or may not be purchased. What are those little flags just under your logo about?
Glad you asked. We now accept payments in Euros and British Pounds Sterling. Just click on the appropriate flag and the system will reconfigure itself to pay in the currency of your choice for your convenience.Do you offer free shipping for some orders?
Yes! We offer free USPS shipping to any US or Canadian destination on orders valued at $25 USD or more.We also offer free USPS shipping worldwide on any order over 35 Euros or Pounds.
You can choose to ship UPS, but free shipping will not apply.
All of our packages originate from our factory in Denton, TX, regardless of destination.
How do you calculate shipping costs?
We've weighed every product we sell, and we calculate your shipping based on this data to ensure the best shipping costs possible.Do you ship internationally?
Absolutely. UK, Thailand, Austrailia, Germany... anywhere the USPS can send to, we can, too. If you don't see your country in the list when you checkout, please email the webmaster and we'll get that oversight taken care of.What's the $1 handling fee about?
Boxes and packing peanuts cost money, and we pay a nice person to pull and pack your order. What forms of payment do you accept?
We take Paypal and most major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover). Can I make a swap or substitution on my order?
It depends. Please note that the eager beavers in our shipping department prepare orders for shipping at 6 AM CST, 7 days a week. We will be unable to honor substitutions or swaps requested after 5 PM CST, Monday-Friday. On the weekends we'll be unable to honor substitution requests at all. What's Hobby-Q doing on my credit card statement?
As of January 1, 2011, Reaper Miniatures reincorporated as Hobby-Q, Inc. with Reaper operating as an independent brand under the Hobby-Q flag. Even though you're shopping on reapermini.com, it's Hobby-Q that's running the show -- at least as far as our accountant is concerned. All transactions initiated at Reaper Miniatures will show up as Hobby-Q on your billing statement. Is my information safe? Is it safe to shop with you?
